International Women’s Day is fast approaching.
It is a day where we celebrate women and the progress we have made as a society in the fight against gender inequality, but it is also a reminder that the journey is far from complete. Fragrances can be a great form of self expression and can help women feel good about themselves. It is a relatively modest way for a woman to explore her identity without necessarily implementing major changes to the way she looks or behaves, and is thus an empowering tool to help her feel confident, to evoke pleasant memories and feelings, and to serve as a mild mood enhancer. Perfume is not just about making you smell good, but also about making you feel good!
It is important to note that there is nothing wrong with disliking a particular scent or fragrance note. After all, International Women’s Day is about empowerment and self expression, not about waiting for someone else to tell you what to like and what to buy.
